How do I click on a graphic and make words appear in powerpoint?

I have a graphic in a powerpoint presentation that I need to be able to click
on the graphic and have text displayed to explain a point related to the
subject of the presentation. How would I be able to do this?

1. Create the animation effect for the text (e.g., Fade, On Click, Very Fast).
2. Select the effect you've created in the Animation Task Pane, Hit the Drop
Down menu, and click on Timing
3. In the timing dialog box, click on Trigger > Start effect on click of
4. In the +Start effect on click of+ drop down menu, find the graphic that
you'll want to click on to animate the text. select it and hit OK.
