how do i clear the stored (automatic) email addressess in outlook

I had recently been trying to send an email to an address i wasnt sure of, i
tried like 5 or 6 different address with the same beginning name. now once i
figured out the right one, i added it to my contacts, by problem now is that
the automatic address check and entry is pulling up all the incorrect ones as
well (or any adress that ive ever mailed to) and i dont want that. is there
a way that i can clear that list of address that ive sent to but that are not
in my contact list? , ie, dead or non-recurring address... hopefully that
makes sense, thanks so much..
