When I click on Run and then put my cursor in the box and type `w,' it lists
a bunch of recently visited Internet sites. Yes, I've cleared History on
Explorer and deleted files, etc. using the Tools tab at the top of Explorer.
I can't seem to get rid of them. Any other ideas?

The drop-down entries come from Index.dat. Uncheck auto-complete for web addresses in Interet Options, Content tab, Autocomplete settings.

To clear the typed entries in RUN, use the recent documents "Clear List" in Start Menu properties.

The entries are stored in the Registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

You can use regedit to clear these entries by going to the above registry
key and deleting the entries.

Thanks a bunch everyone. I didn't mess with the regedit because I didn't know
which one to delete. but the Kellys-Korner exe file worked like a charm.
