How do I check whether IPSec is enabled on machine or not
once i configure my system with IPSec

Use the netdiag support tool. If you have never used it before I suggest trying in
the default mode of simply " netdiag " to see what it can all do. Otherwise you can
use individual tests as in " netdiag /test:ipsec /v ". You can also use ipsecmon to
see when security associations are being created and the amount of traffic that is
being encrypted. Windows XP Pro work a little different and their is an ipsec
monitoring snapin for mmc. --- Steve
