How do I change to default Look in box in the Find option

I want to know how to change the Find/Replace default in Access 2000. It
comes up with searching the row only and I want it to search the entire
database. Also to default to Any Part of Field. It is probably simple but I
can't work it out. Thanks

Leanne,

The options for Find are the following (cut and pasted from Access Help):

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Edit/Find tab.
3. Under Default find/replace behavior, do one of the following:
Select Fast Search to search the current field and match the whole field.
Select General Search to search all fields and match any part of the field.
Select Start Of Field Search to search the current field and match the
beginning characters of the field.

Note Changes made to this setting don't take effect until the next time you
start Microsoft Access.

Thanks for that, however, I changed it to General Search and then shut the db
down but it still comes up with searching by row. Any other suggestions? I
tried in both the design area and in the form but no luck
