How do I change the way a word attachemnt is initially displayed?

When I open an attachment that is a MS Word doc I want it to open in Print
layout not Reading Layout. How do I do that. That is, what setting do I
change/modify to have my Word attachments open in Print layout not Reading
layout.

I can change to the print layout once the document is open under the view
menu - but I want to avoid having to do this.
