How do I change the sheet or tab order in an existing workbook?

I have what seems to be a simple problem, but I can't do it. I have an
existing workbook with data in it and I have decided I want to change the
order of the sheets (tabs). Can I do this

Hold down the ALT key and point the mouse at the sheet tab and hold down the
left mouse button and drag the sheet to it's new location.

Click on the tab of the worksheet you want to move. Hold down the mouse
button and drag the tab to its new position in the list.
