How do I change the scale of a chart axis?

I always have problems finding the right part of a chart to right click and
get the Format Axis option. Often it doesn't appear no matter where I click
on the chart. Is there any other way I can get to the Format Axis option so
I can change the scale of a chart axis? Through a menu somehow?
