Is there a way to change the order in which the tasks in the task list
display or otherwise prioritize them on screen?

Yes. Here's a few steps from my recommended way (I train in
productivity/time management using Outlook):

Add some columns to the TaskPad (right click the column header and select
Field Chooser | Remove Icon, then add Due Date, and whatever other fields
would help you).

Arrange the TaskPad by Priority (right click the column header and set to
group by priority in descending order)

Thanks! I actually worked out the answer before I received a reply and did
exactly as you suggested. The field I added was: schedule + priority. This
field allows the entry of an integer to sort the tasks according to priority,
which is exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again!

I to am trying prioritize my tasks beyond the High, Normal, Low provided with
Outlook.

When using integers, what do you do when you get to 10? With 10, 11 .... and
I sort, 10 and 11 sort above 1.

Thanks
