How do I change the default view to draft when opening word 2007 .

Every time I open a Word 2007 document, it defauts to 'print layout' view. I
want it to open in draft view. Setting it to draft and saving it does not
work, on the next open it is back to 'print layout' view.

ActiveWindow.View.Type = wdNormalView
to both an autoopen and an autonew macro in the normal template
