How do I change the default margins?

Help-

I've somehow change the default margins and they are now
really wide! I try to move them to a normal width and
they snap back automatically. I've tried to find how to
set how the emails look but I've had no luck. Please
help!

What editor are you using? What version of Outlook?

I am using Outlook 2002 and my editor is Word 2002.

Well, I don't use Word very much, but the default margins are stored in the
document template. If you're using Normal.dot as your template, delete it
and let Word recreate it.

The templates are in a hidden folder. You must enable showing hidden files
and folders to see it. Templates are located in C:\Documents and
Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates. Delete the
"normal.dot" you find there.

I know they are in a hidden folder. I didn't have a
normal.dot, I copied one from another user to put it in
there but that didn't work either.

I didn't think Word could operate without one. It could also be in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates.
