In Movie Maker...if the clip appears to be distorted...
(squashed / stretched) it may help if you go to...
Tools / Options / Advanced tab and select 16:9.
Or...you may want to crop the clip to achieve the
wide screen appearance. The following freeware
has a video crop option. The Pan and Scan option
may be a good choice when cropping.
(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System
Restore point before installing software or updates)
