I would like to change my default justification settings in word so that it
is always on full justification...Is this possible?

Possible but not recommended, as it requires modifying the Normal style,
which will affect almost every other style in Word. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CustomizeNormalTemplate.htm. A
better approach is to modify the Body Text style to be justified and then
format the default empty paragraph in Normal.dot as Body Text.
