How do I change paragraph indent on a pre-existing document?

I've written a 105,000 word manuscript with only two spaces at the beginning
of each paragraph, but there are supposed to be five spaces. Do I have to go
through the whole manuscript and change each paragraph by hand or is there
another way?

First-line indents should not be created using spaces. Delete the spaces and
apply a proper first-line indent. The equivalent of "five spaces" for this
purpose will be the default half an inch (five characters in a 10-pitch
monospaced "typewriter" font).

Delete the spaces using Find and Replace (Ctrl+H), searching for two spaces
and replacing with nothing. Then Ctrl+A to select the entire document and
apply the indent (then remove it from any paragraphs that shouldn't be
indented). If by some miracle a specific style was used for the body text,
modify that style.
