How do I change the desktop background color for individual user accounts?
I don't want to use wallpapers because we use our PC for remote connections.

If you only have to do this for a few accounts ...

Right-click on the desktop, select "Properties", select
"Appearance", then set "Item" to "Desktop" and select the colour
for the desktop.

To do if for a lot of accounts ... figure out which reg key to
adjust and do so with a logon script.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop seems a good candidate.

Background contains a RGB value.
