how do i bring information from one worksheet to another in excel.

I would like to plug in a number to a cell on worksheet one and it
automatically populate the fields from worksheet two?????? help
 
In worksheet2, in the cell to reflect the value of A1 in Sheet1.

=Sheet1!A1

as an example.
