How do I back up the contents of a folder onto a thumb drive?

I want to copy multiple files that are in a folder in My Documents. Is there
an easy way to copy all of them at the same time?
 
Nothing to do with Word. In My Computer, drag the folder from the My
Documents listing to the drive name in the left-hand pane.
