How do I back up multiple "My Documents" folders on a network to a single PC

Hi

I have several PC's, all networked, all with shared "My Documents"
folders. I'm trying to back them up from a single machine, but
although I can open, say, "Tom's Documents" and see it, my backup
software won't backup the top level document folder, only the
subfolders (which means its not automated, if he ever adds a folder to
his documents I have to modify the backup). I'm using some software
from SonicDVD (came with the DVD drive!).

Any recommendations for a backup program which meets these criteria:

1. Cheap. Not necessarily free, but $50-$100, with a trial option
would be nice.
2. Only required a single licence, and only needs to be installed on
1 machine.
3. Will backup shared "My Documents" folders from the other 5
machines.
4. Can be run with a single click.
5. Backs up to files, not archives - we need to recover individual
files, via the explorer.
6. Backs up to DVDR.

I could probably do this with some clever command line fun, but the
admin staff who need to run this, need nice shiny buttons, and I don't
really do GUI's!

TIA

Hi Shaun,

Did you try Mapping the drives? So "Tom's Documents" would be drive Z:,
etc., instead of a UNC path. Not sure if you can fool the software this
way or not.
