How do I automatically save a file with the name of the subject

I use Word as my e-mail editor in Outlook. When I save a message to a
directory outside of Outlook, I want to automatically save the file with the
"subject line" of the e-mail plus the ".doc" suffix. Can this be done.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?Y2FjdHVzamFjaw==?=,

Nothing built into Word to help you, no. It would require a macro, if it can
work at all. But older versions of Word/Office have no access to the "mail
envelope" (the big toolbar where the email information is entered). This was
introduced in Word 2002, I believe.

If you have Word 2002 or 2003 you can ask in one of the programming (Word VBA)
newsgroups whether someone there can help you write such a macro.
