How do I automatically receive email without clicking on Send/Rece

I am unable to automatically receive email unless I click on the Send/Receive
button? At work I can open my Outlook and it automatically loads an email.

Ther recommended shortest send/receive interval is 10 minutes, especially if
polling multiple accounts.

forgot that I use 10 minutes and 5 minutes for offline

Ok, I already have it set for that . . . and that isn't my issue. When I
open my Outlook at work, it automatically loads my incoming email . . . I
don't have to press Send/Receive, it automatically loads.

I have to press the Send/Receive Button at home in order for Outlook to load
my email there. What I am asking is, what do I have to set on my Outlook in
order for it to automatically load (like it does as work) and not always have
to press the Send/Receive button.

The 10 minute setting isn't helping me here, what I want is it to load as
soon as I open it, without using the Send/Receive Button.

Something else is going on here because the way you get Outlook to
send/receive on startup is to define a send/receive interval.

i already have it set to send immediately when connected in the Mail Set up
under Send/Receive. It just doesn't seem to work.

I never mentioned "send immediately" because that has nothing to do with
your problem. You said you want to have a send/receive performed when you
start Outlook. I and others said you need to define a send/receive interval
for that and you said you have already set a send/receive interval. Since
that's the case, Outlook _should_ be performing a send/receive at startup.
Since it's not, something else is at work.

With Outlook closed, delete or rename the SRS file in the (hidden) folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook, since that file contains yuor send/receive
settings. Restart Outlook and it should create this file again. You may
have to reestablish the send/receive settings you want. If that doesn't
help, start fresh with a new mail profile, pointing it at your current data
store with the Data Files button in the Mail applet.
