Shows receiving 1 of 3, but only receiving 1 email

For the past 2-3 weeks, whenever I click send/receive, it shows that it's
receving more emails than I actually get. For example, shows receing message
1 of 3, but when the send/receive is complete, I only have 1 message in my
inbox. I've looked in all other folders but no other emails found. This
happens almost every time I do it. Where are the emails going???

Does Vista have Outlook Express or Windows Mail? I thought it was Windows Mail.

In any case, neither are Microsoft Outlook which is what this group
supports. If you're in fact using Outlook Express, post in the appropriate
newsgroup and be sure to include your version (found in Help > About).
Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer, not Microsoft Office. They're
not the same email client and they're not related in spite of the similarity
in name. It's unfortunate since it's caused alot of confusion over the years.

If you're in fact using Windows Mail, search for a Windows Mail newsgroup.

I am using Outlook Express on Windows Vista

No you're not. Vista does not have Outlook Express. Moreover, you're in
the wrong newsgroup. As WIndows Mali questions in
microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail
