How do I auto-start a powerpoint slide show

Looks like lots of people are having the same problem.
 
Hi

You don't say what version of PowerPoint.

I would save the presentation as a PowerPoint Show, in order to have
it auto-start.
 
Which version of PowerPoint are you using? If your using PowerPoint 2007,
then save it as a .ppsx file. Fore earlier versions save it as a .pps file
Then when double clicked it should open in the slideshow mode
