How do I authorize my computer to play or burn CD's?

I'm trying to burn songs onto a CD with Itunes. An error message comes up
saying that I can't burn that song. BUT it says that if I authorize my
computer to play or burn CD's - then I will be allowed to burn it. How do I
authorize my computer to do that?? Thanks!
