Step #1 Please don't use ALL CAPS they are hard to read and they are
considered shouting. Bad form. :-)


If you are looking at a table, you don't. Tables are not designed for
anything other than holding the data. They are more like buckets than list.

Forms, queries and reports have format properties you can set for
individual fields. Try a right click on the field while in design mode and
press F1 for help if you need it.
 
Kimberley - you can also Right Click on your Toolbar and put a tick next to
the Formatting Toolbar then select field and select formatting - much easier
than Right Click on the field.
