I have a business that uses VIP barcodes for repeat customers. How can I
create a feild to be able to enter a number and have it add up to what they
already have banked in a field on the forms screen after we have scaned their
barcode. I have gotten as far as getting the forms together. I dont think I
am understanding access too well on how to do this. Please help. Thanks to
all ahead of time

I don't know what banked means but usually values in a field are summed with
a query or with the Sum command in a form or report.

Help has a lot of information and the Northwind Database probably has an
example of what you want.
