how do I add more than one project to a dvd

I have room on a dvd when I try to add to it I get an error message that says
wrong kind of dvd in drive
 
If you're using a DVD-R, you can only write on it once, as far as I know.
You would want a DVD-RW (re writable) in order to add stuff from WMM and
other things at seperate times.
 
Correct.
Or you would need to add your other videos to the DVD authoring project
BEFORE burning.
