How do I add a picture to Word based on a cell in Excel?

I am trying to add a picture to an Avery name badge based on a cell reference
in Excel. As everyone in the XL file would not have a picture on their
badge, it would be like an if-then rule. If the "next record" has an "X" in
the correct column, the picture would be added. Is is possible??? I am
using Excel and Word 2007.

Are you talking about the same picture for all of those that are to have
pictures, or are they pictures of each individual that you want to appear on
their badge, if you have a picture for them?
