How do I add a link on my web for downloadable content?

I have some movies that I want to upload to my frontpage and be able to let
the viewers download them. Does anyone know how to put this on a web page?
 
sure,
Just upload the movie files to the server, then on your page just type some
descriptive text, highlight it and right click, then chose "hyperlink",
browse to the pertinent media file, set the "target" as _blank.
