Ask your IT manager at the workplace. There can be many ways that it is
accessed and there are many variables.

I'd check with the IT department in the office since the multitude of ways
they could have setup the email there aren't known here. Maybe they've setup
Outlook Web Access.

If the IT department allows this. They may stop it at the firewall (like I
do).

Check out LogMeIn.Com's "free" remote access program. Load it on your

your email, but anything and everything else on your office computer as if

Which would violate policies at work at get your fire or reprimanded
(and the violation recorded in your employee file) for infiltrating and
corrupting the corporate network. Even when they permit your home
computer to connect to their corporate network, it's through a secure
VPN and into a special security zone in their network. You really think
the IT folks aren't monitoring their network to find out when employees
are ****ing it over?

What makes you think your company permits off-domain access to their
mail server? What did they say when you ask them? They may require use
of VPN to connect to their corporate network. They may require you use
OWA (Outlook Web Access) via web browser instead of using a local e-mail
client. They may also not allow you to store *company* information on
your personal property. Talk to THEM about how to remotely access your
work e-mails.

However, the OP better check with their IT and Security groups before doing
this. Such inbound connections may be prohibited by policy and installing
unapproved software can be grounds for dismissal.
