Thanks in advance.
At our company, we have an accounting program that opens a bunch of files (typically pdf files) and processes them batch style. If one of the files is being used by someone, we have to run the accounting program all over again. I figure if we can check if any of the files are open, and find out who, we can tell them to close the file, then run the program. I tried looking in Windows Explorer for a column under View>Choose Columns that would show if a file is open, or who by, but I couldn't find anything that shows that. Anything in Windows that will tell if a file is currently open and who is using it?
Really appreciate the help.
Thanks again.
