How delete failed messages?

I have four messages that failed to upload. How do I delete them so that I
don't keep getting the error messages?

If you click on Outbox and then highlight each message, you can either click
X in the left corner, right click the mouse and choose delete or hit the
delete key on the keyboard. That should work for you.

I should have said that these were Newsgroup messages. What do I do to
delete these?

open the outbox folder in OE and delete the messages.
