How copy a cd?

Am I just stupid and can't figure it out or is there really no way to copy a
cd or dvd disc in Vista without 3rd party software?

XP is the same. It's for backing up data to cd/dvd and not copying cd. Get
Portable version of Deepburner (free) and you can copy cd/dvd, even from a
thumbdrive.
