I am pulling data from a database into Excel. I have a column with
over 1000 rows with dates in Excel numerical format. However, in order
to get them to be viewed as the dates after formatting the column, I
have to go into each cell (either double clicking into the cell or just
hitting F2) and then hit enter for it to be able to show the date. How
can I get this information to show up correctly the first time without
having to go into each individual cell (all 1000 of them)???

Probably came in as Text format.

Select the column and Data>Text to Columns>Next>Next>Column Data Format>Date.

Select a format from the Date dialog box and Finish.
