I have a file called FONTVIEW.EXE in C:\WINDOWS which runs when I double
click a font to see what it looks like.

Several sites say FONTVIEW.EXE could be something called Opaserv.T Worm.

How can I tell if mine is real or is a virus? This is my file:

------------
size: 20.5 KB (20,992 bytes)
size on disk: 24.0 KB (24,576 bytes)

modified: 4 Aug 2004, 00:56

file version: 5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)

Hi John,
Upload the file here for scanning:
http://www.virustotal.com
and wait for the report.
Run a thorough scan for a malware and viruses on your system from different
vendors with On-line scanners.
HTH.
