How can you insert/attach previous emails, into a new email?

I have just purchased Office 2003 Pro and cannot attach previous emails,
either sent or received, to a new email. In the previous edition of Outlook I
could attach the emails easily but so far I can only attach file, word etc.
I am sure that it is a minor problem, but just need help to point me in the
right direction.
I am running HTML format. Would that make a difference?

Insert Item is the function you need. Try the drop down arrow beside
Options.
 
Thanks Judy. I knew it was a case of not seeing the wood for the tree's.

I was actually putting the cursor on the paperclip icon, and not the arrow
on the RH side of the paperclip icon.

In my training room, it can take a few attempts before everyone follows
instructions and clicks the tiny drop down arrow - I make them do it at
least twice so they see that it's a different spot!!
