how can you insert a hiperlink to a smartart?

i tried to add a hiper link to the words in the smartart but it didn't work
......is there any way to add a hiperlink "in the document" in a smart art
 
No, you must add it to the entire SmartArt diagram.

Alternatively, create a shape and add the hyperlink to that. Give the shape
a fill, but make it 100% transparent so it can't be seen. Place this shape
on top of the SmartArt area you want to link to.
