how can you delete all previous addresses in the address bar.

when i type www. (any letter) and before i finish typing
the address a drop down box appears and show everey site
I have ever been to ( some a little embarissing). Can I
get rid of these. Of course, I have deleted history and
temp files and cookies even complete forms, but I still
get these
 
tried this already and the address bar still drops down a
long list. such as www.w (long list of websites with
an "a" at the beggining. www.b ( long list with b
websites etc....

can anybody help?
 
You deleted the index.dat file?
Do you have a number of users on this computer?
Then you may have an other file in his/her profile.
