not sure if you are allowed to make an iso of windows. this method wont be
avail to you via windows. however, you can make a disk image of your hard
drive onto dvd's or cd's or another drive or partition. this method is more
effecient than a backup. but i think you would need a software that
specializes in "Recovery". the rocovery software can make iso/disk images
onto what ever media your prefer. then they can be used to restore your
harddrive by booting from them. but again the recovery software is the
master program that controls and protects the processes of disk image
files.....

Answered in your previous thread (And you will have more space left after
you burn the ISO image to DVD..)

Your question is a bit unclear actually.. I suppose you have a bootable ISO
image you have obtained/made. You wish to turn that image into an actual
DVD instead of leaving it on your system (for unknown reasons - unless it
has to do with your limited space.. Of course - for someone who
creates/downloads DVD ISO images - you should probably consider getting a
larger hard disk drive, second disk drive, external disk drive, etc..)

thanks. I was hoping I can burn the iso dvd image file from windows itself
or using nero express 6.

Looks like I have to use something else. I did hear someone telling he
heard someone was using nero 6 to burn iso dvd image. I did use nero
express 6 to burn iso CD image When I tried with nero 6 express on the iso
dvd image, it either give me the message the file not accessible or format
not supported but by something burn rom in v7

I must have confused databaseben with my original question.

The iso image file is from the internet for new OS that I want to try on the
new second drive. The primary drive is to be disconnected during install to
avoid potential trouble. and the new OS will then be imaged and then
virtualized. I heard the vs2005 may have trouble with dvd. that is why
- I use this round about way
- I have to conserver as much space as possible
