How can Iuse my own picture as a background for my PowerPoint?

I am doing a PP pfresentation and would liketo use my own pics as the
background yet I have not figured out how to this. Any advice?
 
All you have to do is insert the Pic, change the layout to 'Behind Text' and
expand the pic so that it covers the whole slide. Make sure every other txt
box and picture is set to 'in front of txt'
 
Format > Background
In the drop down choose "fill effects" and select the picture tab
Select picture >Navigate to your picture and OK

Choose "Apply to all" for all slides or "Apply" for current slide only
