How can I view a hidden administrator?

Mu question is how can I not only view an administrator login account that is
apparantly hidden, but delete it as well? I am running XP Pro on a gateway
Pent. 4. I was running Everest and under Users I saw my 2 administrator
accounts, the Guest account, the Gateway support login and 1 account that I
cannot account for but is also listed as administrator (6 logins - perhaps a
tester of the PC before I received it new - like someone who loaded the OS
originally?) I do not see the account in the Control Panel, so how can I
find and get rid of this account?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Hi Mike,

You cannot delete the default administrator account, nor should you. It is a
fallback if the others become corrupted. On WinXP Pro, hit ctrl+alt+delete
twice at the logon screen to type it in to the Win2000-styoe logon screen
and access it.

As far as I know you cannot remove the default "administrator" account, that
is there as a system account so you can create other accounts. You can
access it by holding down the ctrl-alt-del key at the welcome screen for
about 2/3 secs. Then you get the win200 type login, put administrator in the
user name and away you go.

Or in Home (or Pro) boot with F8 to the menu and use Safe Mode, when
Administrator is on Welcome
