How can I update windows xp with no internet service?

I have a HP 520n that I just had to reset to factory settings. I no longer
have any of the service packs/updates that I dowloaded through out the years.
Its no longer hooked up to the internet and I was wondering how I can update
windows without connecting? I did purchase a laptop that does have internet
access but it uses windows vista. I saw that microsoft used to offer update
cds. Do they not anymore Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Other patches:

Each month Microsoft puts out that months patches in an
ISO format for burning to DVD:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913086
(Back to 2006)

You can see the critical (security and other) patches released for a given
month using the following:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms##-***.mspx

At the end of this line you see "ms##-***.mspx" .. If you simply replace ##
with the two-digit year and the *** with the three character month
abbreviation, you will see the list of "critical" and "important" patches
for that month (since it only happens once a month usually, if you check by
the second Tuesday (wait until afternoon) of each month - you should be
fine) - note that future months will not work.

As an example...

December 2004's patches..
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms04-dec.mspx

March 2005's patches..
None released.. so that one will fail...

May 2006's patches..
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms06-may.mspx

January 2007's patches..
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms07-jan.mspx

April 2008's patches..
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms08-apr.mspx

There's at least one third party tool that will download all
of them for you:

Come back - let everyone know if that is what you wanted/needed.

If you download individual hotfixes from the KB links then probably you would
be getting QFE updates which you may not actually require. If you need xp
specfic updates, You can visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog
from a box having intrnet connection. Search the hotfixes you need, put them
in a download bucket and then download all of them together. Burn a media and
install them on the xp box

I am currently downloading sp3 onto a cd. It says it has all the previous
updates on it. Then I just put that CD into my older computer and download it
right?

If your computer is SP1a or beyond already - then you can install SP3 and
you will only have about a years worth of updates left.

please correct your usage of the term download, you would download something
from the internet, you would install something from a cd onto your
computer(when updating, or installing software) or copy from the cd to your
pc, if moving data from the cd to your pc, thanks.

The computer will be used. It is now my childrens computer which will
eventually be hooked up to the internet just not at the moment. I want to
make sure it stays up to date.

You want to remain ignorant about good usage of terms, that's your problem,
It wasn't presented as negative critisism, just an FYI, you want to get
offended about something so simple, go right ahead, no skin off me.
