How can I uninstall IE6?

I am running a XP Pro and have family accounts for 4 of
us. Mine, the admin, has a corrupted IE6 and I cannot
uninstall. I tried overlaying the service pack for XP
and IE and nothing.

It won't start and all it does is ask if I want to send
an error report or not.

I tried going to the Control Panel and uninstalling IE as
a windows component, nothing again, won't unistall.

My environment is a Win 2000 Pro to XP Pro upgrade if
that matters.

Help?!

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer in Windows XP. You can repair or
reinstall over the top.
