How can I turn off the setting that requires Word to confirm dele.

When I select a block of text in Word then hit "delete" the program always
asks me to confirm deletion of the block. Does anyone know how I can turn
that setting off?
 
In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two boxes for
WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
