How can I trade in the Vista op system for XP.

Hi,

If it came with your system, check with the manufacturer for downgrade
rights. Some provide for these.

If you bought a retail disk, you can ask about a return policy.

they claim to have sold 60 million copies of vista... lol

this is such a stretched estimate, its like taking a rubber band and
stretching it to the moon...

I would say only a few million really eventually have vista on their
machines...

certainly under 10 mil. and almost non of them who have it, actually like
it.

Nice to see that the global Vista FAILURE and OUTCRY of millions of people
to get
XP back
has tamed the once, fierce (but stupid) Vistaboys...

They are backpedaling so fast the bicycle chain is on fire!

Usually you (and others like you) would preach about how great vista is and
how stupid the user is because he/she is doing something wrong.

Now all you do is quietly and humbly tell them the info they need, without
throwing any propaganda...

GOOD... I hope the others of your gang will follow this tactic.

Please tell me how your post is helping to do anything but create more
drama...

"how stupid the user is because he/she"
A common misrepresentation of the facts.
The FACT is users are seldom told "how stupid the user is because
he/she is doing something wrong."
That is a fiction perpetuated by you and others like you when facts do
not support what you want.

Your need to regularly change handles is further evidence of your true
motives.

How did you get Windows Vista?
If it came on your computer, contact the seller/manufacturer for
options.
If there are none, return the computer and buy one with the operating
system of your choice.
As in the past with earlier Windows releases, computers continue to be
available with the previous versions operating system.

If Windows Vista is retail, return to seller or Microsoft within 45
days.
Easier if you live in North America.

You are a blight upon this newsgroup thaiboy.
Rogers is one of the most helpful people here; unlike the clown that you are.

Thai is not trying to help. His mission is to become a globally recognized
moron. He has done well.

On the other hand, Windows has cute, tail-wagging
puppy dogs in the GUI, childish "My xxx" folder names,
and now in Vista there are tiny lights when hovering
over a window's control box - just the thing to thrill
an 8-year-old boy. That's not even getting to the
topic of how many configuration and permission settings
have been "Rube-Goldberged" to the point that an
average person of normal or even high intelligence can't
figure them out. All of that doesn't seem to indicate
that the designers think they're dealing with fully
functioning adults.

Meanwhile, Apple uses icons that look like they were
designed by a 12-year-old girl who dots here i's with
little hearts.

And Linux people make the same mistake but with
the opposite approach: They yell impatiently at anyone
who doesn't demonstrate a thorough understanding of
their OS. :)

I think the tendency toward geek chauvinism - equating
intelligence with technical experience - is actually quite
widespread. And newsgroup visitors are not all immune to it.

perhaps you can tell me what my true motives are
in here, because I certainly don't know...

but I know what the fanboy and MVP motives are...

to put vista on a pedestal, and spew propaganda about the worse OS
microsoft has ever made... while it should be buried in a coffin with the
vista logo on it

Why is this issue important to you?

Just asking, because there might be a twelve-step program available. If it
is the perceived welfare of others that gives your life meaning, well,
there's definitely some pathology at play.

Apparently you can not dispute what I said.
Your continued name calling in a vain effort to prop up your
unsupportable position demonstrates your inability to do so.

"and spew propaganda"
And that is EXACTLY what you do with Windows Vista.
Pot - Kettle - Black

"what my true motives are in here, because I certainly don't know"
Very difficult to believe.
You have no idea why you are here?

uhm boys, i'm definately not a vista fanboy,
but actually in most cases it works well for me, i dont have any performance
issues,
maybe due to my fast machine, but maybe as well because everything is clean
and neat.
anyway, anybody CAN downgrade to XP, so feel free to do so, but don't bother
those guys happy with vista with your "i hate vista"-attitude.

btw, i'm not a native english speaker, so keep comments about my english to
yourself please :)

regards

Yours is to do the opposite. Pretty simple really.... kind of like
you.
