How can I tell that Access is the right program for my needs

Contemplating converting over to Access Databases but not sure if I will be
able to have all the information I need at hand when asking for reports.

Consumer Name, Address, ID#, Dates, Counties and more - I need to have
tables or spreadsheets containing info. and would like to just enter info
once and be able to pull what I need when I need it.

I hope this makes sense.
