I think you're asking how to make PPT tile.

Otherwise, just set up one slide for the poster. So if you need a poster
that's, oh, say 96 inches x 48 inches, you'd set up the PPT slide (File|Page
Setup) at 48 x 24, and then when you print, you'd print at 200%. Because
you're working with only one slide, you can just place the picture on it as
needed.
