How can I stop graphics from shifting when I change screen resolut

Hello out there:

I've place a dozen thumbnail images on a page and now, when I change the
resolutions, the page changes but the image sizes remain the same. Is there a
way to maintain a consistent look across all resolutions, or make the images
conform to the changes made?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

You'd want to build a table, fixed width (but not so wide that the columns
with the thumbnails inside are too wide for 800 x 600 resolution). I'd
center the entire table... Then, simply insert each thumbnail into a
separate cell, using as many rows as needed.

The images will not change size, they will always be displayed at the size they were when inserted
on a page.

You mean they "appear" to remain the same physical size in the browser window or that they remain
the same size in relation to everything else on the page??

They actually don't resize at larger resolutions because they still occupy the exact same pixel
width and height.
Since the resolution is higher the image then takes up less space on the screen because more pixels
are displayed in a given "area" of the monitor.

They just *seem* larger or smaller depending on the screen resolution, they
will still be the some many pixels wide by so-many pixels high.
