Screen Resolution

Hi,
I am a beginner in FrontPage design. I am using the FrontPage design view
to build a basic website.
Is it possible to ensure that the sites pages remain consistent regardless
of the screeen resolution.
I am designing the page in 1400x1050 but when I change to 800x600 to test,
the page no longer fits on the screen 9horizontal scroll bar appears)
Is there a ximple way ti resolve this?
Thanks in advance

Use tables set to a % width, such as 100% or 90%, etc. and place all content within the main table.
Also any images should not be wider than the lowest resolution you expect visitors to your site
would be using. So if you want to support a minimum of 800, then no image can be more than 750
pixels wide.

For beginners like me and you, use tables with the width set to 750 pixels
max.

I am not a beginner, and I still prefer to use a fixed width table of 750 pixels, centered.

I'm not exactly a beginner either, but I have websites that cater to older
people that have the older computers, and they also like to print the pages,
so mine are not even that wide.

If using FP2003 you can set the design window size:
With a page open, at the right of the status bar (View->Status Bar, if it is
not displaying) there are 4 entries, from right to left:
Browser settings, Authoring Settings, Target Page Size, Estimated download
time.
Click on the page size, and choose a size - 760x425 for an 800x600 browser.

This limits the design canvas - if you get a horizontal scrollbar change the
design.

yes, design at a resolution people will view the site at - 800 x 600 or at most
1024 x 768

1400x1050??? my video card is not even CAPABLE of that!!
