How can I show acceptance by the originator of the meeting?

I create meetings for my boss so he is the originator. He doesn't accept the
meetings since he created it. Now, all of a sudden his calendar isn't
showing these meetings. How can I change that?

No need to post more than once.
 
I have had reports of two instances of this exact same thing -- where the
originator's calendar does not contain the meeting. Very confusing for those
who see this time as "free" on these two people's calendars. We are on
Exchange2003, one person is using Outlook2003, the other Outlook2007.
