Hi

I have been asked by a customer to setup a secure location on a Windows
2003 server which only certain users can access and *not* the
administrator.

The server is currently logged onto the network as administrator and
the administrator has access to all the folders.

The system is backed up with windows backup which would still need to
be able to access the data for the scheduled backup.

Furthermore, the customer has asked that the administrator shouldn't be
able to easily take ownership etc to access the files.

Help!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Alex

There is no way to prevent the administrator from accessing files and
folders in the domain. The administrator can always take ownership. You
have to trust your administrators. If you can't trust them then they should
not be administrators.
